July 25, 2016newsBy Raluca Iorga

At the end of this month, UNTEATRU festival celebrates 6 years since it works as a place where the cultural product becomes the attraction for the public that becomes the visitor. Between 28th of July and 4th of August, UNTEATRU also marks the moving to a new space through the micro-festival called “UNTEATRU Days”.

This micro-festival reunites well-known names and plays appreciated by the two directors who are also the founders of the UNTEATRU project – Andrei and Andreea Grosu- but also a series of concerts for the music lovers.

The extended weekend will be dedicated to the most important event on the theatre and cultural scene this summer – 7 days full of plays, openings, concerts, photo exhibitions, designs fair, but also a terrace where public can find the actors and friends of the festival.

“UNTEATRU Days is our favorite celebration. It’s the day of the theatre whose wings grew like a voyager albatross. It’s the day of the theatre from whom we have learned what it takes to be free and honest in all that you do. For us, UNTEATRU means emotion. The emotion of trial, love, discovering emotion in all its forms. And for that we are so grateful. Happy birthday UNTEATRU and we thank you that you keep us alive. Emotional!, Andrei and Andreea Grosu – directors and founders UNTEATRU.

The special moment came as a surprise even for the organizers. Hamish Linklater, the American actor and the author of the “Vandals” play will be present at the opening act that will be played at the UNTEATRU Days, on Friday, 29th of July, at 19:30.

The opening play will be “Patience” and after that the Robin and the Backstabbers concert. Every theatre night will meet its end with a concert at the bar: Lucia, Alex Stefanescu, Byron, Maria Raducanu, Maxim Belciug, closing with Alexandru Andries, on Sunday, 31th of July, at 21:00.
